Rutherford Health plc

Rutherford Health plc ("Rutherford" or" the Company") announces that Paul Tuson, the Company's Chief Financial Officer has stepped down from the Rutherford board with immediate effect.

Paul Tuson joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer in June 2015, less than a year after it was formed. Since then, he has played a substantial role in building the Company and in preparing the Company for its admission to NEX earlier this year. Following the re-registration of Rutherford as a public limited company on 16 August 2019, Paul believes that the role he was taken on to fulfil is now complete and, accordingly, has decided that this is the right time for him to leave the Company.

The resolution to approve his re-appointment as a director of the Company at the forthcoming AGM will therefore be withdrawn. Paul Tuson leaves behind him a strong finance team that he was instrumental in creating and the role of interim CFO will be fulfilled for the time being by the Company's Group Financial Controller, Marcus King.

Mike Moran, CEO of Rutherford Health plc, said "It is with some degree of sadness and considerable gratitude that we say goodbye to Paul Tuson. Paul has made an enormous contribution to the development of the business. The work we have done will enable Rutherford to become one of the leading providers of advanced cancer therapy in Europe, treating patients in the UK and elsewhere who would not otherwise be able to access the cutting-edge treatments that we offer. We wish him every success in his future endeavours"

The directors of Rutherford Health plc accept responsibility for this announcement.
